RAW RUNDOWN
The RAW after Backlash continued the momentum from the weekend. Jey Uso replaced Drew McIntyre in the first round of qualifications for the King of the Ring Tournament. Dominik Mysterio seems to be setting himself up for disaster with his recent mission of trying to unite Carlito and Judgment Day. His decision was met with much confusion and resistance from Damian Priest on RAW.
The Mad Dragon competed in his second RAW match against Ricochet to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament. The two stars put up a jaw-dropping match that garnered a standing ovation from the WWE Universe. The former NXT Champion laid quite the impression on the brand's fans, making his main roster debut unforgettable.
Gunther and Sheamus already have an intense culmination from the latter's quest to become Intercontinental Champion again. The two heavyweights did not hold back with their hits and chops in the RAW main event. Sheamus's body testified to the vigorous display of viciousness when Gunther's chops left literal hand marks. In the end, Sheamus tapped out when Gunther put him in a submission ankle lock, permitting him to be one step closer to his goal of being crowned the next King of the Ring.
46-year-old WWE legend gets a standing ovation after RAW goes off the air
Hartford, Connecticut, was the host of Monday Night RAW this week as the King and the Queen of the Ring tournament kicked off. There were also a couple of big title matches that seemed to be made official, including that of Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan, while Sami Zayn offered to put his title on the line in Saudi Arabia against both Bronson Reed and Chad Gable.
Although Sheamus fell short in his attempt to become a two-time King of the Ring winner and Gunther picked up his third win against The Celtic Warrior, the 46-year-old legend received a touching standing ovation after RAW went off the air. Check out the clip below.
CM Punk holds RAW hostage; calls out WWE Superstar and calls him a coward
CM Punk made a surprise appearance on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW and called out Drew McIntyre. He held the show hostage for a few minutes, waiting for the latter to show up.
Drew McIntyre was supposed to compete in the King of the Ring tournament on RAW this week, but it was revealed that he was not medically cleared to compete. He then left the arena, and a few moments later, CM Punk showed up. He was informed that McIntyre was gone, so he headed to the ring and urged the crowd to tweet at Drew so he could return to the arena.

The Rock tried to take credit for major star re-signing with WWE
According to a new report from Ringside News, The Rock wanted credit for Drew McIntyre's decision to re-sign with WWE. Sources told Ringside News that Triple H played a pivotal role in the negotiations and convincing McIntyre to stay with the promotion. The report stated that The Rock was eager to seize credit, and swooped in at the end, eventually outshining the Chief Content Officer's contributions in getting the deal over the line.
CM Skunk is so lame, he needs a crutch to maintain his less than average deliverance of his so-called promo. He's boring as dust on the wall.
Drew, on the other hand, is doing a whiz-bang job at "heeling" Punks wounds. I hope WWE books this feud in McIntyre's favor. I would love to see Drew beat Punk's stupid looking face into the mat.
